First, go to the plain by Lake Mila on the east of the city. Defeat the Grassland Sunbirds and Wolves there. Come back here when you're finished.
Just go east from the city gate and you'll find their tracks. They make perfect training opponents.
The test may prove more difficult than you think. In the past, some applicants couldn't even handle one Sunbird.
